Entrepreneurship and Competency Development workshop

Glocal After School, in collaboration with Anurodh Nepal and Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, conducted “Entrepreneurship and Competency Development workshop” to a total of 914 students across 23 schools in Nepal on April- August 2017.The workshop aimed to develop self-competent and entrepreneurial mindset among students of class 8-10 for the broadening of their choices of study and develop. Decades of education systems are outdated with theory and practical sessions but not in action-oriented problem-solving courses and activities in the school curriculum. With the belief that age is not the limit to start and turn ideas into action, this session to students explores the opportunity to create sustainable entrepreneurship where students are trained in school-based environments to realize their self-competencies and implement into action following their creativity.
